About DJ MaGnUm
DJ MaGnUm (born Bogdan-Mihai Iftode) is a Romanian music producer and composer active since 2003. Having spent years performing as a DJ across clubs, TV stages and live events, he has since transitioned fully into music production — channeling that same energy and stage experience into crafting tracks across house, chillout, hip hop, and reggaeton.
Recognized for combining emotional depth with modern sound design, his productions carry a signature that has defined over two decades of collaborations with some of Romania's most well-known artists.
He was introduced to music through formal lessons at a young age. During his teenage years, influenced by blues, chillout, and hip hop, he discovered a passion for composition. While studying IT at university, he merged his technical knowledge with music production — a combination that remains central to his creative process today.
// Career Timeline
First exposure to DJ culture in Costinești. Early remixes include Ecuador 2004 and Insomnia. First collaborations with GeoDaSilva & Funky Djs and early club circuit work.
Produced remixes for Giulia, Voltaj, Sisu & Puya. In 2009 became resident DJ at MegaDiscoteca Tineretului (Costinești) and in 2010 became resident DJ at Ring Discotheque (Costinești). Released debut album Summer Legacy (2011) featuring Anca Neacșu and Paul Panait.
A prolific period of releases: Party People (with DJ Lion & K-Flow), Taste and Îți pare rău (with Anca Neacșu), I Miss You (with K-Flow & Yor-G), Nu te uit (with Anca Neacșu, DJ Lion & Antidot), and Tráeme La Noche (with Anca Neacșu).
Improved his collaboration with Dj Project on remixes and songs for private parties, and expanded sound with internationally-flavored productions: No More Weakness, Cassablanca (feat. GeoDaSilva & Ennah), Nights in London, and Never Enough (feat. Paul Panait).
Returned with Fly With Me (feat. P-Paul, 2024) and Summer Never Dies (2025), Dj MaGnUm feat. Vortex - E Bine Aici (2025), Dj MaGnUm feat. Serkan - Yanarım Halime (2025) and Dj MaGnUm feat. Tarrin Blaze - Light It Up (2025), marking a new chapter with a fresh, contemporary sound.
Starts with a remake for the Ecuador Rmx from 2004 and continues with a full series of songs and collaborations
